Geziwo Park, also known as Eagle’s Nest Park, is one of the premier attractions in Beidaihe. The park gets its name from a large rock resembling a majestic eagle perched on a coastal cliff formed by geological fractures. Geziwo Park is renowned as the best location to witness the spectacular sunrise over the sea. Every summer morning, thousands of visitors gather to watch the breathtaking sight of the “red sun bathing in the sea.” In 1985, a 50-meter-long ancient-style building called Wanghailang Corridor was constructed on the southeastern cliff of the park. The corridor is adorned with over 100 traditional murals. At its southern end, a pavilion was built to provide a place for celebrities and tourists to compose poems and create paintings.

The park’s west beach features an artificial lake with pavilions, winding bridges, and resting areas, making it an ideal spot for leisure and recreation. Additionally, the park is home to over 600 pigeons that interact with visitors, offering opportunities for playful engagement and photography.
