Sanhuang Village (三皇寨) is a natural mountain village perched on the slopes of Shaoshi Mountain, with its main peak, Liantian Peak, soaring to an altitude of 1512 meters, making it the highest peak of the Songshan Mountain Range. The entire scenic area features steep slopes and wide mountaintop plateaus, boasting characteristics reminiscent of Mount Tai’s grandeur, Mount Hua‘s perilousness, North Mount Heng’s peculiarity, and South Mount Heng’s beauty.
During spring and summer, lush green forests thrive, emitting fragrant floral scents. In autumn, the foliage bursts into a kaleidoscope of colors, painting the mountainsides in vivid hues. Even in the harsh winter, the mountains don a snowy coat, resembling a silver snake slithering through the landscape, creating a rare natural spectacle rarely seen in northern China.
