Huzhou is an ancient city in the Jiangnan region with a history of over 2,300 years. It is the only city in the Taihu Lake area of China named after the lake. Known as the “City of Silk, Land of Fish and Rice, and the Cultural Heritage State,” Huzhou is one of the birthplaces of Chinese sericulture culture, tea culture, and the culture of Huzhou writing brushes, earning it the nickname “Pearl of South Taihu Lake.”

The ancient Jiangnan town of Nanxun retains its original lifestyle, exuding a rich historical and cultural atmosphere with its small bridges, flowing water, traditional residences, and harmonious integration of ancient relics and natural scenery. The Taihu Lake Tourist Resort offers breathtaking views, delicious food, and a leisurely atmosphere. The scenic bamboo sea in Gangkou Township, Anji County, is particularly impressive, with a saying that goes: “For China’s moso bamboo, look to Zhejiang; for Zhejiang’s moso bamboo, look to Anji.”
