Golden Bull Mountain In Jinan Zoo

One of the highlights of Jinan Zoo is Golden Bull Mountain, which features a beautiful fountain built on its southern side. The fountain is carved from a multi-ton piece of yellow granite in the shape of a bull’s head. Water flows from the bull’s head down the hillside into Peach Blossom Creek, creating a picturesque scene. Nearby, visitors can find the Sunset Pavilion, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

On the northern side of Golden Bull Mountain, there are several attractions linked to local legends, including Golden Bull Cave, Golden Bull Trough, Golden Bull Beach, and Shepherd Bull Pavilion. The cave features the rear legs of a bull, complementing the bull’s head on the southern side, symbolizing the reappearance of the legendary golden bull. Water trickles through the cave’s stone formations into Golden Bull Beach, which is adorned with lotus flowers and red summer blooms.
