Wuyuezhai (五岳寨, Wuyue Village), located in Lingshou County, Shijiazhuang, spans a total area of 120 square kilometers. Its name, meaning “Five Peaks Village,” is derived from the unique arrangement of five towering mountain peaks, resembling the famous Five Great Mountains of China. This scenic area is a part of Hebei Province‘s Manshan Natural Reserve, comprising three major scenic regions and over 360 individual attractions.

Location and Transportation

Wuyuezhai is situated in the northwestern mountainous region of Lingshou County, Hebei Province, China. It is located approximately 110 kilometers to the south of the provincial capital, Shijiazhuang, and is adjacent to the renowned Buddhist pilgrimage site, Mount Wutai, to the north.

Because of its relatively remote location, there is no express coach or railway to transport you to Wuyuezhai. You can only drive yourself or sign up for a travel agency to enjoy this scenic area.

Return Trip: Buses back to the city depart at noon from the checkpoint, and tickets can be purchased directly before boarding.
