Huzhou Hello Kitty Park (凯蒂猫乐园), China’s first Hello Kitty-themed amusement park, opened its doors on July 1, 2015. The park is part of the “Angel Town” project, which also includes operational entities such as Castle Hotel and Town Hotel.
Comprising six distinct areas, each with its unique theme and corresponding attractions, the park offers a variety of experiences for visitors. Friendship Square serves as a gathering place for Hello Kitty and her friends, while Happy Harbor revolves around the theme of the Big-Eyed Frog. Melody Village is hosted by Melody, the musical note character, while Elf Forest is the territory of mischievous monkeys. Steam Kingdom is the stronghold of the righteous and cool Penguin, and Hello Kitty’s home is known as Kitty Cat Courtyard.
The park boasts a wide range of attractions, including the Colorful Ferris Wheel, Flower Dance in the Wind, and Joyful Drift. The Colorful Ferris Wheel features eight fixed cabins and eight rotating cabins, allowing visitors to enjoy leisurely moments and breathtaking views of the entire park from a height of 42 meters. Flower Dance in the Wind invites guests to join Hello Kitty as they ride flowers through the air, while Joyful Drift offers an exciting river adventure, taking visitors through streams and harbors for an unforgettable experience.
In addition to rides, the park offers various performances, including “Hello Kitty’s Wonderland Adventure” at the Angel Theater, featuring everyone’s favorite character, Kitty Cat. “Dream Journey” at the Shell Theater and “King of the Jungle” at the Jungle Theater are also must-see shows, suitable for guests of all ages, with most performances taking place indoors.
