how to get to nanluoguxiang from the temple of heaven

Nanluoguxiang is a historic alley located in the Dongcheng District of Beijing, China. It is approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) northeast of the Temple of Heaven, which is also located in the Dongcheng District.

To get to Nanluoguxiang from the Temple of Heaven, you can take public transportation or a taxi. Here are the steps to get there by subway:

Bus:

Take bus 60 at Fahuasi Stop (about 100 meters to the north of the east gate of the Temple of Heaven), get off at Nanluoguxiang, and walk about 50 meters to reach the south end of the alley.

Take bus 2 at the west gate of the Temple of Heaven, get off at Kuanjie Lukounan (宽街路口南), and walk about 370 meters to the north to reach the east end of the Nanluoguxiang Area.

Take bus 106 at the north gate of the Temple of Heaven, get off at Dong Sishiertiao (东四十二条), and walk about 700 meters to the west to reach Nanluoguxiang.

These options take about 55 minutes and cost 2 RMB, with the bus 60 the optimal choice.

Subway:

Take subway line 8 at the west gate of the Temple of Heaven (Tianqiao Station 天桥站), get off at Nannluoguxiang Station, and you will be standing at the south entrance of the alley. This journey only takes 27 minutes, costs 4 RMB, and saves you the concern of traffic congestion.

Taxi:

You can also take a taxi at any gate of the Temple of Heaven. It should take about 35 minutes and costs about 30 RMB. But I should warn you that the fare can be much higher if you are caught at a traffic jam during peak time.
