Liyuan Garden is situated at 70 Qingqi Village, Binhu District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China. It is nestled along the shores of Li Lake, an inner lake formed as a northern extension of Taihu Lake. Li Lake stretches approximately 6 kilometers from east to west, with a varying width of 0.3 to 1.8 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 9.5 square kilometers.
