Ancient Ambiance

ancient ambiance in qingzhiwu

At the entrance of the village road stands a prominent landscape stone inscribed with the characters “青芝坞” (Qingzhiwu), elegantly written by Liang Pingbo. Beyond the stone lies a picturesque artificial lake named “青柳塘” (Qingliu Tang), with a waterside platform and curved pavilions adorning its shores. The village road, widened to 12 meters, features pedestrian pathways paved with green stone slabs, evoking the ambiance of ancient stone-paved lanes. Alongside the village road flows a small stream, sourced from Lingfeng Tanmei, meandering through the village for over 1000 meters. The 176 renovated rural dwellings in Qingzhiwu boast white walls, black tiles, and charming open courtyards adorned with flowers and vines, presenting an aesthetically pleasing and distinctive scene.
