Established in 2012, it comprises various scenic spots for film and television shooting, including the Xiangyang Cultural Industrial Park, Meng Haoran Cultural Tourism Zone, and Hanshuiyao Cultural Tourism Zone. Covering an area of 3.7 million square meters, the grand classical architecture juxtaposed with the shimmering waters of the Han River creates a charming ambiance, transporting visitors back to the Tang Dynasty as if through a time portal. Xiangyang Cultural Industrial Park
The Xiangyang Cultural Industrial Park, also known as the Tang City Area, is situated in the central part of the Xiangyang Tang City Film and Television Base. It consists of six major zones: city walls, palaces, market streets, mansions, temples, and water features. The park is adorned with architectural wonders like the Triumphal Tower, Mingde Gate, Zhuque Corridor, Eastern and Western Markets, Qinglong Temple, Imperial Palace, Huaye Xianghui Tower, Huyu Mansion, and Jian Nan’s villa.
Meng Haoran Cultural Tourism Zone
Located on the western side of the Xiangyang Tang City Film and Television Base, the Meng Haoran Cultural Tourism Zone covers an area of 1.1 million square meters. Key attractions include Xianshou Mountain Scenic Area, Meng Haoran’s Thatched Cottage, Huilu Lake Water Town, Poetry Road, and cliffside inscriptions of poems, offering a tranquil retreat with scenic beauty and cultural significance.
Hanshuiyao Cultural Tourism Zone
Situated at the southern end of the Xiangyang Tang City Film and Television Base, the Hanshuiyao Cultural Tourism Zone spans an area of 2.1 million square meters. It features Ming and Qing dynasty cityscapes, Xiang Wang’s Mansion, Oriental Pearl Tower, Hanjiang Grand Theater, and Hanjiang Wetland Park. This area provides a blend of film culture and ecological tourism experiences, showcasing the rich heritage and natural beauty of the region.
