Harbin Polarland (哈尔滨极地公园), located on Sun Island, is China’s first theme park focused on polar-themed performances and interactive polar science experiences. The park features five main exhibition halls: the Polar Pavilion, Ocean Pavilion, Penguin Learning Hall, Polar Bear Experience Hall, and Dinosaur Hall. It also offers seven major shows, including the Beluga Show, Dolphin Show, Penguin Parade, Sea Lion and Walrus Drama, Water Dance Show, Ray Show, and Penguin Performance.
The Beluga Show, “Heart of the Ocean,” was first introduced in 2009 and became the world’s first underwater beluga performance. This show, which has been featured on CCTV over 100 times and listed among the world’s top 50 historical moments, continues to evolve. Now, on its 15th anniversary, the performance has undergone its largest-ever upgrade, with new music, scripts, animations, and choreography. Highlights like Heart of the Ocean, Whale Kiss, Angel Halo, and Three Whales Dance have all been reimagined and presented in a fresh format.
The Dolphin Show is a world-first holographic 3D dolphin performance, integrating cutting-edge projection and AI technologies. Featuring the popular “Learning Penguin,” along with dolphin and sea lion stars, this performance creates an immersive visual feast with international and Chinese performers on stage.
For some light-hearted fun, the Walrus Talk Show features two Russian walruses, Ino and Eva, who are natural comedians. Their humorous acts and antics make them the stars of the show, and their goofy yet talented performances are sure to make audiences laugh effortlessly.
