Luoyang Longmen Aquarium (洛阳龙门海洋馆) stands as one of the largest marine museums in China, boasting a sprawling architectural footprint of over 10,000 square meters. It comprises nine thematic exhibition areas, including the Amphibian and Reptile Zone, Rainforest Spectacular Zone, Wetland Ecological Zone, Mangrove Ecological Zone, Interactive Zone, Coral Reef Ecological Zone, Deep Sea Ecological Zone (featuring an underwater tunnel), Sea Lion Performance Hall, and Marine Theater. Together, these areas showcase over 30,000 specimens representing more than 300 freshwater and marine species.

Moreover, the aquarium presents several unique and noteworthy attractions, including the first-ever exhibition of luminescent genetically modified zebrafish in China, the exclusive double-decker cylindrical tank providing an immersive experience, the magical space where fish swim beyond the confines of their tanks, and the world’s largest 360-degree panoramic cylindrical tank with a diameter of 12 meters, offering a mesmerizing visual spectacle.

Location and Transportation
Longmen Aquarium is located at No. 782 Longmen Avenue, Luoyang, Henan Province, China. It is situated approximately 1.5 kilometers north of Guanlin and 2.5 kilometers south of the Longmen Grottoes Scenic Area. To get there, you can take bus 53, 60, 71, 80, 81, 89, 99, 113, or 118, get off at Longmen Avenue Guangfu Road Intersection Stop (龙门大道广阜路口站), and walk about 200 meters to the south.
