Siberian Tiger Forest Park (东北虎林园), located in Hengdaohezi, is the world’s largest breeding center for Siberian tigers. Covering an area of 250,000 square meters, the park includes various zones such as the Tiger Exhibit, Education Area, High Entertainment Service Area, and Rare Animal Viewing Zone. The Tiger Exhibit itself spans 70,000 square meters, featuring a rugged landscape that mimics the natural habitat of the Siberian tiger, providing an excellent environment for these majestic creatures.
The park is home to ten tigers that have been released for the first phase of wild training. These tigers will begin a new chapter of their lives here, aiming to develop their natural instincts and behaviors.
Visitors can explore eight main attractions within the park, which typically requires at least two hours. One of the standout experiences is the Tiger Viewing Area, where guests can take a guided vehicle tour to search for tigers and admire their beauty in a more natural setting. Additionally, walking trails allow visitors to observe the tigers’ training in climbing and other behaviors, offering insight into their daily lives.
For an interactive experience, visitors can even feed the tigers, throwing pieces of meat or live chickens into their enclosures. Siberian Tiger Forest Park is located in Hengdaohezi Town, Hailin City, Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province, approximately 210 kilometers along National Highway 301. Visitors can take a bus from Mudanjiang to Hengdaohezi Town, with stops at the park.
