The park is adorned with various pavilions and structures that contribute to its charm. One such iconic structure is the “Huxin Pavilion (Pavilion in the center of the lake),” constructed in early 1933. Originally named Shuixin Pavilion, it was a small wooden quadrangular pavilion. In 1942, it was transformed into Huxin Pavilion, and despite several renovations over the years, its exterior remains mostly faithful to the original design.
