Location and Transportation

Banpo Museum situated in the eastern suburbs of Xi’an, in the Baqiao District, about 10 kilometers east of the city center. It is easily accessible by public transportation, with several bus routes that stop nearby. Visitors can also take a taxi or use ride-sharing services to reach the museum. The journey from the city center typically takes around 30 minutes by bus or car.

Bus: Take bus No. 15, 105, 269, 289, 406, or 416, get off at Banpo Bowuguan Stop (Banpo Museum), and the West Gate of the Museum will be right in front of you.

Subway: Take subway line 1, take off at Banpo station, walk about 200 meters to the southwest to reach the entrance.
