Location and Transportation

Canton Tower is located at 222 Yuejiangxi Road, Haizhu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. It stands 125 meters south of the Pearl River, directly across from Zhujiang New Town, Huacheng Square, and Haixinsha Island. To get there, you can choose one of the following ways:

Bus: Take bus 11, 262, 468, or Tourist Line 1 and get off at Canton Tower West stop (广州塔西站).

Metro: The closest metro station to the attraction is Canton Tower on line 3, APM line, and Haizhu Electric Tram Line 1. After getting out of the station from Eixt A, you will see the tower right in front of you.

Located on the 106th floor of Canton Tower at 423 meters, the “Twilight Mediterranean Buffet” holds the Guinness World Record as the highest revolving restaurant in a building. With seating for 130 to 150 guests, it offers a complete rotation every 100 minutes, perfectly timed to align with the dining experience. This ensures that all diners can enjoy panoramic views of Guangzhou. The tower also features four distinct dining options, including the 106/F Mediterranean Buffet, the 105/F Lutus French Rotating Restaurant, the 103/F Yue Jiao Xuan Chinese Restaurant, and the Chopsticks Society on the -1/F floor.

The wheel consists of 16 transparent cabins, each measuring 3.2 meters in diameter, accommodating up to six people per cabin.

With 1,088 steps wrapping around the tower’s core, the walk spans 1,000 meters and covers a vertical distance of 166.4 meters. Each level has sections of transparent glass flooring, offering a thrilling view beneath. Starting on the 33rd floor and ending on the 62nd, most people complete the climb in 40 to 60 minutes, with the fastest climbers managing it in just 25 minutes.

The “Sky Drop” at Canton Tower is the highest vertical drop experience in the world, located between 455 and 485 meters on the tower’s antenna mast. It surpasses the previous highest ride, the Stratosphere Jump in Las Vegas, by 150 meters. There are two sets of drop seats offering both a seated jump and a standing free-fall simulation. In just over a second, riders experience a 30-meter plummet while taking in breathtaking views of Guangzhou. The Guinness World Records recognizes this ride as the “World’s Highest Thrill Ride,” and Canton Tower is the first and only holder of this title.

The XR Experience Pavilion at Canton Tower, located in the East Plaza, is a newly launched 5G+XR attraction. Inside the pavilion, visitors can sit on a multi-dimensional motion platform simulator and wear 4K high-definition VR glasses to embark on thrilling journeys, such as exploring outer space on a space ship or diving deep into the ocean. Outside the pavilion, ultra-high-definition display screens allow visitors to interact with AR experiences like lion dances or prehistoric dinosaurs by simply waving their hands, offering a fun, free interactive photo opportunity.

The TaxiWay Flight Center, located on the first floor of the Canton Tower’s Huilixuan Mall, features two Boeing-authorized 737NG simulators equipped with professional flight simulation training systems. The self-developed Boeing 737 Level 4 simulators are certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) under CCAR-60 regulations, allowing guests to experience realistic flight training and control.

During the grand opening on January 22, the Windbreaker Challenge and Alpha Exploration were opened to the public for the first time.
