Established in 1995 and covering an area of 400,000 square meters, Changsha Window of the World (长沙世界之窗) is a large-scale comprehensive theme park that blends 20 creative themed events, 50 major amusement attractions, world-famous architectural wonders, global cultural performances, and a film shooting base.
Over 20 years of development, the park has expanded into a three-part attraction comprising the Land Amusement Park, Water Park, and Children’s Park. Visitors can enjoy unlimited access to 45 world-class rides with a single ticket, including the Moto Roller Coaster, Sky Tower, Giant Pendulum, Flying High, Pirate Ship, Spinning Stars, Winged Flights, and the Luxury Double-Decker Carousel. The park has also embraced cutting-edge technology with VR experiences, such as the VR Ski Shooting Hall, offering a diverse range of entertainment options.
The park’s “New Concept Water World,” a significant investment, adds vibrant excitement to the summer season. With vast refreshing water areas and themed events like Thailand’s Songkran Festival, visitors can cool down in unique ways. Water attractions like the Super Tornado, Wave Pool, Jellyfish Maze, and Caribbean Water Fortress provide thrilling, refreshing experiences, while the standard swimming pool is a must-visit for swimming enthusiasts.
In 2015, the park opened the Ximaotuo Children’s Park, the only indoor vegetable-themed children’s center in China, designed specifically for children under 12. It features 10 family-friendly attractions, including the Insect Climbing Coaster, Mini Ferris Wheel, Frog Jump, and Bouncy Car, making it a favorite among family visitors. Additional attractions for younger children, such as the Naughty Castle, Ocean Ball Pool, and Kids Excavator, create a paradise of fun for little ones.
As the leading theme park in Central South China, Changsha Window of the World stands out for its creative themed events, with 20 major innovative and stylish events held throughout the year. These events, combining entertainment and experience, set trends in leisure tourism nationwide. The annual New Year’s Red Nose Festival, Women’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Children’s Day, Labor Day, and National Day are celebrated with special activities that extend the joy and excitement. Traditional festivals like the Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival are creatively interpreted, while Halloween and Christmas events have become popular gathering places for the youth of Changsha.
