Mudanjiang, located in the southeastern part of Heilongjiang Province, is known for its breathtaking natural scenery and is often referred to as the “Jiangnan of the North.” The city is home to a variety of stunning attractions, including the world’s second-largest volcanic lava dammed lake, Jingpo Lake, a UNESCO Global Geopark, and the National Forest Park of Underground Forest. The best time to visit Mudanjiang is from September to March of the following year.
