Useful Tips Summarized from Reviews

Time Planning: The last bus to the Xian’nv Town Visitor Center is at 17:30. The latest departure time from the Visitor Center to Wulong Train Station is at 18:00. Plan your time well to ensure you don’t miss transportation options.

Accommodation Options: If you’re too tired or can’t catch the last bus, consider staying overnight at the Visitor Center (Xianv Town) or Wulong Station (Wulong County). There are plenty of budget accommodations. The ones inside the scenic area are more expensive.

Transportation within the Scenic Area: Purchase a ticket for the small train (costs 25 yuan). You can get off during the journey and get back in line when you’re ready to continue, including for the descent.

Food: About 100 meters downhill from the small train station, there’s a food street. Prices are slightly higher, and the taste is average. However, inside the small train station, there’s a convenience store selling items like instant noodles and spicy noodles at normal prices.

Interaction with Wildlife: Plucking leaves from trees can attract sheep. If you encounter a flock of sheep, you might even be able to hold a lamb.

Weather Precautions: The mountain is windy and cool, but it can also be very sunny. Make sure to bring sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.

The weather is great, perfect for soaking in the sun. I originally wanted to capture some snowy scenery, but unfortunately, it didn’t snow. However, the bright sunshine is nice too, and I can take pictures of the blue sky.

Accommodation is divided into two areas: the Visitor Center or Xian Nv Mountain Scenic Area. Staying at the Visitor Center requires an 8 yuan fee to line up for the shuttle to the scenic area, whereas accommodations in the Xian Nv Mountain Scenic Area are just a 5-minute walk to the attraction. Therefore, we chose to stay within the Xian Nv Mountain Scenic Area. Activities: Day 1: We arrived around noon at 12 PM and opted to enjoy the nearby… Read more »

If you are coming to Xian Nv Mountain in the next few days, make sure to dress warmly. The wind on the mountain is very strong, and it can be quite cold when it rains.

The so-called “great grassland” is just a hillside. The grass is sparse, and the little train only stops at two stations. If you want to explore properly, you’ll have to rely on your legs. It even rained in the mountains in the afternoon, making it really cold . If you’re not driving, I really wouldn’t recommend going there.

Today the weather is pleasant, and the line for the small train moves quickly. We took a leisurely stroll in the scenic area, breathing in the fresh air rich in negative ions. Even in casual clothing, the photos turned out great!

Come to Xianv Fairy Mountain to escape the summer heat in Chongqing’s hottest two months. Besides the cool weather, the natural scenery here is also incredibly beautiful. The views on clear days are stunning, and even on foggy days, it has its own unique charm.

At first glance, the Fairy Mountain is somewhat novel, but looking at it for a while, it feels bland, only grass and trees. The winding road, it is just a road, but it has been blown up online to be beautiful, quite a bit of a sense of artificially deifying — this is it, yet there are a lot of people taking pictures, and it’s hard to capture the open feeling of the road when there are many people around,… Read more »

The sightseeing bus stops at two stations: 1) Da Cao Yuan (Big Grassland) and 2) Liu Ma Chang (Horse Riding Field). 1. Start by walking to Da Cao Yuan from the bus stop. It takes about 1 hour with stops along the way, highly recommended! It’s even more beautiful than the Wave Road, with fewer people, lots of cows and sheep, a vast grassland, and picturesque S-shaped bends. Great for taking photos! 2. Take the sightseeing bus from Da Cao… Read more »
