Zheduo Mountain (折多山), situated within the territory of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province, boasts an elevation of approximately 4,962 meters. The mountain pass stands at an altitude of 4,298 meters, creating a dramatic elevation difference of 1,800 meters with Kangding City. Referred to as the “First Gateway of Kangba,” it marks the initial high mountain pass that travelers must cross on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway.

Zheduo Mountain also serves as a crucial geographical boundary. To the west lies the rising plateau region with the Yalong River, while to the east is the mountainous area, leading to the eastern part of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, representing the authentic Tibetan region.

At the summit of Zheduo Mountain Pass, a white stupa stands tall, surrounded by prayer flags fluttering in the wind. From this vantage point, one can also catch a distant glimpse of Gongga Mountain, the “Peak of Shu,” standing at an elevation of over 7,000 meters.
