Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province, lies 25 kilometers south of the Yellow River. It serves as a vital hub for China’s railway transportation, where the Beijing-Guangzhou and Longhai railways intersect, earning it the titles of “Heart of China’s Railways” and “Crossroads of Chinese Transportation.”
With a history dating back 3,500 years to the Shang Dynasty, Zhengzhou was an ancient city known for its advanced bronze smelting technology and pottery industry.
Today, In the hearts of many, Zhengzhou evokes images of its green cityscape, historical significance, landmarks like the Erqi Memorial Tower, local delicacies such as Hui Mian (mixed noodles), the renowned Shaolin Temple, the tree-lined Lin Yin Road, and famous figures like Chang Xiangyu and Deng Yaping. Zhengzhou may not be known for its extravagance, yet it exudes an air of grandeur, inclusivity, and comfort.
Zhengzhou in Henan is not just a city brought in by trains, but also a severely underestimated tourist city!
