Dalian, located at the southern tip of the Liaodong Peninsula and at the junction of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea, is an important coastal city in China. It is known as the “City of Romance” due to its scenic coastal views and vibrant atmosphere. A popular summer destination in China, the best time to visit Dalian is during the summer months. Temperatures in June and July hover around 25°C, with the hottest days occurring in August, though they rarely exceed 30°C, and this only lasts for about two weeks. Summer is also Dalian’s rainy season, so visitors should be prepared with umbrellas. From late June to early September, the waters are warm enough for sea activities, but by mid-September, the sea begins to cool.
